Rules of the Chair

The contract outlined below contains the agreement between The Cherry Cricket, Inc. (The Chairer), and The Chairees (You know who you are.) 2. People showing a propensity for passing out.
  3. Anyone caught in the act of dribbling chili down his/her front.
  4. Anyone making out with his/her neighbor.
  5. Anyone drinking well-bourbon. Bait dunkers.
  6. Anyone unfavorably critical of the Chairee's artistic talent.
  7. Anyone singing along with the jukebox, the exception being country western songs.
  8. Anyone incessantly telling bad jokes.
  9. Anyone talking on a cell phone.
In consideration of the Chairer's enforcement of these rules the Chairee shall:

History of the Chair

The chair was given to the Chairee as a sign of gratitude on the part of the Chairer. Apart from the actual chair, there are many other considerations to be taken into account, as the prize is not necessarily the chair itself, but rather, it is the status, prestige, and privilege the chair signifies. The idea is summed up by a redneck's reaction to a tour of a New England furniture museum. What good's the sumbitch if ya can't sit in it?
